Bank's error and still no refund

Well I went to the bank today trying to get my $25.00 for NSF. Originally I made a deposit to my local bank and then wrote a check to my credit union for $140.00 (the money I wanted to transfer) well of course the bank made an error and was kind enough to write a letter acknowledging their error but not my refund Frown Anyway I go to the bank in which the check was written to, of course because the error was not their fault a refund would not be issued. So I was back on the phone with the bank, which made the error and faxing everything all over again. Spoke with a rep that stated she will "try" to resolve the problem I am sooooooo upset I do not have $25.00 to just throw away

    Amber- Go above the rps head...go to the top if need be.

    The amount of time you've spent on this is ridiculous and the banks need to get this taken care of for you. Shame on both for dragging this out like this. The bank that made the deposit error needs to CALL the bank that charged the fee.

    I was head of operations and this would have never drug on this long for my customers, no matter which bank was at fault.

    Thanks for your reply, I did speak with a supervisor ( I am sure it wasn't) but if it is not taken careof by tomorrow I will contact the BBB because your are right this is crazy. I think the bank who made the error should issue the refund
