Paying down debt

I just do not know how some people do it. I am in about $3500.00 worth of debt and it is driving me crazy, every time I look at the numbers. Some people just don't have a care in the world. Any extra few dollars I get I am trying to pay it towards my debt..it is driving me crazy. I know some may say use the money in my EF but I do not want to use it in case I actually have an emergency and then have to use the CC. Anyway I paid another $5.05 on my debt/challenge so I am feeling a little better but I know now if you can't afford to pay cash then I guess I don't need it

    Hi I am 117,500 in mortgage debt so I know how you feel. I have stressed out about it so often but I can't really stress about it for the six and a half years its going to take to pay it off! I find I have to just distract my mind and think of the positives of why we got into debt in the first place! Cheers Cheryl, a loyal reader of your blog!

    I don't know how some other people do it either. Maybe it was unavoidable? Maybe it's rationalized as a part of living the real world? Maybe they just get numb after a while?

    Well, whatever it is, it may be well and fine to others, but to me, I absolutely refuse to accept it! No! I want to right my financial ship and I won't be able to rest until I do.

    Cherly, thanks for reading...however $117,000 owed on a mortage I think is good debt it's the other stuff I am referring to. And Broken I am with you I won't rest until it is paid off

    Paying down debt is important , it's a challenge for you to pay debt , as individuals forget managing their debt and go on taking loans .
