Tip of the Day

October 13th, 2006 at 09:22 pm

I received this in my inbox today and thought I would share, being that the holidays are approaching:

Gift Boxes

I cover my gift boxes with single rolls of wallpaper I've
bought at thrift stores for $1 each. Some are elegant and some
are plain, but the paper is durable enough to make it through
the mail.

I stopped wrapping for DW and DD. I use gift bag and paper. If you ever saw a gift wrapped by me you'd agree completely. I use them over at home.

I use the bag and paper method with other folks as well. I usually pick them up at the dollar store or on sale elsewhere.....Smile

Wow, that's the kind of paper I need, since we have to mail to all the family. Especially now since I no longer have band fundraisers to buy from. They always had really tough paper, but it was so expensive. But you've gotta help your own kids out. So my stockpile is growing thin. Thanks for the idea.

It's difficult to wrap gift cards. Just kidding, but that's seems to be the gift if choice for many. Some stores still wrap gifts.
