    Amber,

Good luck on your journey. I see a few high items on your list:

    Cable/Satellite Television $68.14
    Cellular $136.41
    Online/Internet Service $60.52
    Clothing $203.59
    Dining Out $81.45
    Entertaining $20.00
    Newspaper $2.50
    Total Leisure $26.49
    Miscellaneous $139.31

This right here is a total of $738 or $8,856 a year.

For one, you should try regular TV for awhile. Basic cell service should run you about $40 to $49 a month tops with either Verizon or Cingular. Online service from Yahoo or Verizon can cost $32 a month with a yearly contract. clothing for $200? Dining out is pretty high as well. I think your misc is way too high and unaccounted for. Let us look at the updated list:

    Cable/Satellite Television $0
    Cellular $45
    Online/Internet Service $32
    Clothing $50
    Dining Out $40
    Entertaining $10
    Newspaper $2.50
    Total Leisure $0
    Miscellaneous $50

Running the new numbers, your monthly total is now $230; a savings of $500+ or $6,000 a year. Think of what you can do with $6,000 a year. Fund your savings account, beef up your IRA, save up for your down payment.

I wish I could get regualr t.v but when I moved home ( to save money) I agreed to pay the cable bill. I have a basic cell service with Cingular but because I was with At &T it seems as though my bill is always high, so last month I got a new phone (had to because they were cancelling the service if I didn't)
oh and my misc was high because I loan some money out and did not know where to put them

Thanks for the tips I will definately use them
