Thanks to everyone

I just wanted to say thanks to every one on this site, who not only read my blogs but encourage me as well. I have come a long way and still have a way to go but blogging has really help me open my eyes. Now you all know that I got a bonus today and the old me would have thought about all the things I could buy but instead my focus was on upping my challenge.

I feel as though we are one big family here and I am comfortable with blogging and sharing things that I am afraid to share with family members or friends. I don't know but we all share something here and it is wonderful.

I am aware that $4000 to some is not a lot but to me I feel like a millionare, lol... I have never just saved $4000 not even $200 for that matter. lol but any how I am happy

Last year, I wrote about my attempted suicide and my battle with depression, I can honetly say sincee I have joined this site I am the happiest I have every been in a long time (even though I am single)

Just felt like I needed to share this with you and again I just want to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!!!!!

oops I forgot I added $7 more dollars to my challenge

New total $4007.00

PS for anyone who is going through anything, I know how you feel; just hang in there the best is yet to come Smile

    Just wanted to let you know you have been a HUGE inspirtaion to me! Whenever I have money or and thinking of spening money, I think...Hmmm, now, what would Amber do with this? And the answer, of course, is pay down the CC debt or save it to the challenge.

    $4,000 is a HUGE amount of money and you should be very proud of yourself! We're all proud of you here. I agree, this is like a family, and the support we get from each other is amazing. Keep going Sunshine, because you are totally kicking arse! Hugs! Koppur

    Amber - Since joining this site I've thought you were quite an inspiration, and now that I know a bit more about your background, you are even more inspiring!

    I personally don't know anyone who would think $4K isn't a lot ... It's huge! Way to go!

    Hi Amber, I didn't know that - I guess I didn't read far back enough. It is a real challenge dealing with depression - I am also a Chronic Depressive and have been managed on meds since 1988.
    My recovery from my Gambling Addiction has been made easier and more exciting since I started using blogging to deal with daily challenges, set backs and achievements.
    You are right when you say we have a "big family" here - it amazes me how I think about the various blogs and how each and everyone of us has a special story to tell. I also share things in my blog that I would NEVER share with my friends or family.
    You take care and give thanks for all your Blessings - especially the one of life.

    $4000.00 is great! Good for you. Since I work at home I feel like this is one of my social outlets and a way of reaching out in some small way to others.

    Congratulations Amber!! If I had even 1/2 that amount saved right now I would feel rich.

    I am a stay at home mom who has a very limited amount of money each month to work with, but coming here has really helped me change the way I view money. LOL, I have turned into(gasp)a saver and frankly I'm proud of it. This month will put me over the $100 mark of saving. Coming here every day is my main social outlet.
