i really liked that show, but only saw the first 2 seasons are so on DVD rented from the library. I don't get HBO, boo hoo. I heard the ending was kind of a mystery, but i'm guessing from the screen going blank you can assume they were all killed.

My son said that he was going to cancel it as well. We have had starz for 3 months free and are going to cancel it as well. There's just too many channels and movies on TV to justify the expense. Besides, they play movies over and over and over. Direct TV has a couple of movies that you can usually buy for $1.99. Occasionally, that's OK because we haven't seen them.

Don't I wish... but too late, we are addicted to Big Love.

DH and I were very melancholy about the Sopranos ending. It was something we really looked forward to and now it's over... wahhhhh!

As a mother, my new saying is "what would Carmella do?" Ha Ha Ha!

We just turned ours on a week ago after 8 years (primarily to be able to hook several computers in the house to DSL). I didn't use it all weekend. Just no time!

We are the expanded basic folk, no movie channels at all!

Yep, I cancelled HBO yesterday, too. I liked watching Oz on On Demand, but I can live without it. A $15 savings per month - yay!!!

    (wasn't that Sopranos finale horrible??)

Wtih my 2 youngest children (8 & 9) still at home I doubt we will get the "premium" channels anytime soon, their programming is not the type I want my kids to have access to.

I'm done. I had the flu for three days and decided to resort to brainless TV to force rest. Bravo, TNT, FMC, AMC and a few others had great movies on. HBO had starwars, big love, old sopranos, money pit, and a few other really low box office movies from years ago.
If you have no good movies today HBO, why not show us Other Peoples Money, Breakfast Club, Apollo 13, Reservoir Dogs, Swingers, Planes Traines and Automobiles, Tommy Boy, Vanilla Sky, Unfaithful, Wall Street, Boiler Room, Lewis Black comedy, Gangs of New York, Miami Vice....WHERE ARE ALL THESE MOVIES? Canceling asap, I'm done.

We rarely rent videos anymore either from our local video stores (to browse thru them you have to see all those awful horror and other covers) or get them from the Satellite company either but a few months ago we signed up with NetFlix and I like it alot. I've been renting my kids alot of older movies that you could never find at the video stores. I"ve found them from the 1930's an on with them. Even 1960's and 70's cartoons. For the 9.99 you pay it's a pretty good deal.

Chris, I do not blame you.Netflix, I am to cheap for that, I will stick with the library
