BoA what a headache

I finally found someone at BoA who knew what he was talking about. No payments made electronically even with the BoA account will be applied to the principal. I either have to go into the branch, make a payment by phone or mail it in Frown So now I have to close my checking account that I opened with them. What a pain

    I would tell them that you are going to transfer the loan elsewhere. What a pain in the donkey BoA is.

    Eh - That is a pain! Well, maybe knowing that you will never have to deal with BofA again after the loan is paid off will be extra motivation to pay it off even more quickly?

    This is true at my bank as well. I asked about it last week so I guess it is standard. I was told that any extra would just apply to the next month's payment.
