Making my dreams a reality. Growing as a person. Creating a stable, secure life for my family and friends. My family and hubby say I am very driven. I can't help it.

  2. NJDebbie Says:

Providing for my family and striving to not have to worry about money if something unexpected happened.

Reading everyone else's blogs! Really, some of them are quite motivating. Outside of the money aspect of things, though, I think my motivation just comes from how I was raised - "do your best, that's all anyone can ask of you". I try to work hard, but enjoy life and be good to others along the way. It's an interesting question.

One thing that motivates me is setting goals, short term and long term. Then I focus and work hard to achieve them. Seeing the progress keeps me motivated.

Mine wasn't obvious right away, and it took a while before I realized it (and was able to even admit it). But it's simple enough: Fear.

I fear that I may not have enough to be financially secure.

And the thing is, I can even prove it by sitting down and listing out all the numbers on paper....

Well, it's not so bad now, but I am still not out of the woods. I know it. I can feel it. And it motivates me to move forward. Feverishly.
