Thankful

June 23rd, 2007 at 03:44 am

I am very blessed, I know some times I complain but there is always some out there with bigger problems. One of our patient's will have to have her leg amputated; she is one of the nicest people I know. She has cancer, two small children and a lazy husband. We've al decided to order a Honeybaked dinner which will last a couple of days, since she will not be able to work or move around. I feel really bad and because the cancer has spread the amputation will be really high up. I will definately keep her in my prayers

I need a reminder too. Two healthy kids, and supportive husband (emotionally and financially), leisure time to run a little artisan business. Remind me again please.

Something like that really puts things in perspective. I'm sorry to hear about your patient. Its really nice of you all to get that dinner together. Things like that are very helpful and appreciated in rough times.
