Over the edge

April 24th, 2006 at 10:06 pm

I know I have gone over the edge with my spending this weeken I have spent soooo much over the weekend Frown on small items that adds up very quickly. I know I spent foolishly out waying my wants over my needs that I have not even entered my transaction onto the register Frown
I am dredging tonight when I finally enter all my transactions

Hopefully it won't be too bad

Maybe you need to rethink the spending on the weekend strategy before you go out.

Allow a certain amount each pay for entertainment purposes, whatever your budget can afford, and then only take an allocated amount of cash with you when you go out and leave your cards at home. That way you can't be tempted to go to the ATM's to get money out because you won't have your cards to do so.

This will make your shopping pmore purposeful and meaningful because you know you will only have that much money to spend and no more. Also try and only go out shopping once on the weekend, other times arrange to catch up with friends either at your house or theirs, and use snacks from home, another way to cut back on unneccesary spending.

Good luck, and better shopping next weekend!

It's okay to stumble sometimes. We're all human, but it is no fun to pay the piper (so to speak). So next time, just try to make a plan!

You guys are both right, I know it has been so long since I actually hit the malls and I do set aside a little something but my God for some reason I got the itch ( a bad one) but that is it
