I went on a splurge today first with breakfast ($3.29) and then lunch ( I lost my receipt, about $10)
It all started when I was running late for work and left my breakfast; even though I had my lunch, my co-worker wanted and pleaded to go out to lunch but did not pay. But I got lucky and a patient gave me $10 today for lunch so that worked out.
Then I went to Blockbuster's and picked the Bourne series, since I saw the movie the other day ($25) so today was definately a spend day

So far I have stuck to the plan/resolution regarding eating out, haven't done it this month. However, I have been shopping...this is what got me into debt in the first place, at least I have not used the cc. But tomorrow I will return some pants I bought from Penney's that will be about $15.00. But today I bought a silver ring and a pair of pants about $28 total

Ok I just finished up the dinner calendar for January and part of February, so when I hit the grocery store I will only buy what's for dinner. This should save me a ton on the grocery bill. I also decided to keep a price book of common items I buy at the grocery stores and do a price comparison with the sale items in Sunday's paper along with my coupon I should sve some money here. It's time consumming and when I lived on my own I use to do this I have no idea why I stopped my groery bill was 3x less than what I pay now
Anyhow I did the shopping for today's dinner which should last until Tuesday and total was $36.22 that includes snack for work and breakfast so I made out ok

It seems like I spend more in december than any other month every year. Spent a lot today, $40 at the hair salon, $8 lunch , $10 donation to my friend's daughter dance group and $59.76 to cc debt. Howver, I am a little upset because I added about 50 to the cc shopping for X-mas yesterday but tomorrow is payday from the part time job and we get our bonus on Friday I am hoping to pay it (cc) off.

I returned some shoes I purchased a couple of weeks ago because they started to tear. I have no idea as to why, I was a little upset because I really liked them but they no longer had my size. maybe it just wasn't suppose to be, then I ad to return some jeans because they were too small so I have a little more than $70 credited to my cc but I ended up using $20 of that to get some face powder which will last me at least two years

I don't know I can never go in the store and buy what I need and come right out of there. Today I hit Macy's...I needed a pair of black tennis shoes ( I have a thousand pair of shoes and not one pair of black ones go figure) Any way I was in the store and picked up a pair of $75 Ninewest shoes for $22.50 as well, now that I am home and taking a closer look at my checking account I decided I will return tomorrow before I change my mind and am out $22.50 o foolishness...I also have the MP3 player to return first thing this weekend that was $60. When I get the money from my rebates I'll use that to get an MP3

Prior to coming to work I had to hit Publix which cost me more than it would have, had I gone to Walmart; but that place drives me crzy. Any way I spent $44.47 here is where it all went:
1.20 sales tax
1.25 for a news paper
$9.90 for disposable utensil and container because after what I saw at work on Friday I will not be using anything in that kitchen
$32.12 on groceries
I was able to save $.75 with my coupon so that was a plus
