Oh Boy

I don't know if you guys remembered but I finally reached baby step one (1000.00 EF) and because of my little spending spree last month I used cc and not cash that I should have had, now I had to take money out of my EF to pay CC' s Frown leaving me with $900.00 I used 3 different cc's Frown and was only able to pay off 2 the third has a balance of 125.00 which will be paid next week, payday. I was doing so well and then bam! I don't know what happened. I was thinking about cleaning outmy $20.00/ New house account to pay off my Student loan but now I will pass I really need to get these CC's out of my hair...and I am still waiting for the 225.00 from my brother it seems like I won't see that anytime soon. That is enough of venting now

    Don't beat yourself up with this! The reason that you have an EF is for emergencies. You had an emergency, so used your EF. Thank yourself that you created an EF.

    don't worry, we are all guilty of splurging and spending money we know we shouldn't be using and can't afford. BUT if you don't have a little spend every so often, you may just go out and spend $1000 instead of $100.

    And as you said, you will have your other cc paid off next week, then you will be ok again.

    I was just wondering if you really need 3 credit cards if you are watching what you are spending? Perhaps you could keep the card with the lowest interest rate open and close the other two?

    and because of your new habits...you realized that your were in conflict of your goals....GOOD for YOU!

    And stopped spending and were more than able to pay the bills off quickly...GOOD for YOU!

    And now you have adjusted your mind set and are back on track GOOD for YOU!

    So...look at all you did right, rather than that teeny tiny little hiccup. Smile
