Disgusted

Well today I bought a laptop ($638.00) and then was told that Office 2003 was seperate and I had to pay $150.00 for that Frown Now I charged only the laptop and now I am having second thoughts ($638.00?) I know it will come in handy when I am at work topractive my lab work for school or on lunch break but was this a want for convienance or a need I have 14 days to think about it otherwads I will not be able to return. I'ell see how it works out with me today at work if it really comes in handy. I am definately returning the sleeve i boutght for the laptop no question ($20.00)

    The laptop I'm typing on I bought on ebay for 200.00 then I bought office for an additional 60.00 from another seller. Granted the laptop is older but I am hoping it lasts a year. I am fairly hard on computers and anticipate buying another one on ebay next summer.

    As for the sleeve. I had a laptop without a sleeve or a padded case and dropped it on the floor. The hard drive broke and the laptop was ruined.

    Another issue is that VIsta, the new windows operating system, is due to be released this spring. This could make your laptop obsolete depending on what applications you are running.

    You may want to keep both the sleeve and the laptop. Sounds like you are stressing a bit over spending the money... Anyway, I used to have a desktop but after using a laptop and seeing how convenient it was, I sold the desktop and kept the laptop and now I don't think I would ever buy another desktop.
