Trouble with Friday's

Ok last week I went to lunch at Friday's twice. First I went and the total was $9.90 now I am checking my account balance and was off by three dollars, the transaction submitted by Friday's was for $12.90 (?) Strange I know, being that this was a pick up order. Next go back and my changed was $2.02 the manager tried to give me $1.50. Now I am annoyed and have to fill out paper work for $3

    Try and get a scan or copy of your receipt - they should have it somewhere. Or, you should be able to see if that $3 was charged as a tip by one of the workers, and hopefully by which one. They do this sometimes--probalby more often than many people realize--how many people match up their receipts with their checkbook anyways?

    I'd track this information down and throw a fit and get someone fired (if they did forge a $3 tip on your bill). That's theft--misdemeanor or petty, but theft still.

    In the future, make sure you always fill in everything on the credit card, tip, total, everything. Make extra effort to cross out the tip area, especially if you don't leave one.

    Well I am just going to dispute the charge with my bank...It is more of headache to go into that place than it is to dispute the charge with the bank. Thanks Jay for the tip from here on out even if I am not leaving a tip I will mark zero on that line...good idea
