More CC offers

Lately since I have paid off my CCs I have gotten a ton of CC offers in the mail. Now the old me would have jumped all over that, I am so thankful that I am blogging my financial journey which I credit to keeping me focus and on track.

    I'm getting tons of those offers too... Discover must REALLY want my business ! I just keep shredding those applications. And hey, let me know how your packing lunches goes. Its always good motivation when someone else is trying to do the same thing Smile

    Same experience here. Just as soon as I paid off the last credit cards, I started to get transfer offers.

    Nice being wanted.

    Nice of them killing trees.. I get offers fairly regularly too, though to be honest capital one hasn't sent me anything in a month or so.

    I always mail the offers back (with all the crap they sent me including the outer envelope and say "take me off of your list". It gets the junk out of my house and annoys them (win win situation in my books).

    Maybe after a couple of years they got the message? More likely I get three new offers next week, LOL

    can i ask, since you have paid off your cc debt, do you still use them at all? have you cancelled them or do you use them for rewards points and pay the total of the bill back at the end of the month? i was just wondering Smile

    Aretha, I acutally closed one account and plan on closing another really soon because I am charged a monthly fee. I do use them but I pay them off as soon as I get home, I never have a running balance, I find it too easy to get back into debt
