I tell you what, when asked if I’m better off than I was four years ago, my answer is Hell no!
The cost of goods has increased, work is extremely slow, interest rates on savings decreased, lost a long-term client, and my retirement accounts have been hit badly, not to mention my nerves.
With all this talk about social security, I am nervous about my mom, she has small savings, no debt, and her social security. She depends on that, I don’t know what we would do if this administration screwed that up.
I pray that things get better. I'm nervous but hopeful

Though I'm fairly new to investing, this for me is not a good thing. I'm not in a position to buy anything at these low prices. I do believe things will bounce back but when?
Eggs, which many were complaining about id now $9 a dozen, and car prices are increasing, by 12%
These are scary times

My goal is to pay an extra $100 a month for my new car’s principal. This was a challenge, long story short to pay the principal I had to call the bank directly. This will be a regular occurrence because this is the only way to do so. The good thing is I will only do this once a month.
As the tariffs go into effect and retailers announce they’ll be increasing their prices, I picked up a few items in preparation for hurricane season (e.g. paper towels, and water). No need to wait.
Work is getting easier, I’m still learning but I’m not as nervous as I was.
Today I got a recertification credit and created a HR related blog post.
Other than that nothing else is happening. It was a good day.
