bad news

My friend's ex was found dead today in right next to his mom. I unfortunately; immediately thought a drug overdose but we will not know until the autospy is performed. She dated him years ago he was such a looser, thank God she left him. Unfortunately there is a small child involved who loves her dad no matter what and I really feel bad for her

    Wow, I know you feel for his family. Especially a child. This news is so awful. Is the child your friend's?

    Jan,
    The child is my friends oldest daughter and she is taking it very hard. She is at the age that "mom hates her" and "daddy loves her" He let her get away with a lot, so I know this is going to really hard for everyone

    Oh, Amber, that's awful. I know that little girls adore their dads. It's going to be really hard on her and your friend. Thoughts go out to all of you.

    Sometimes I think that drugs and alcohol are manufactured right in Hell because they cause such misery. I could write pages on it starting when my mother died when I was 16 from alcohol to the 19 year old boy who died in a house around the corner from me last year from a prescription pill overdose to my friends son, a drug addict for years who just was arrested for robbing a store with a gun and shooting at the clerk.

    I don't think young kids realize, alot of people might smoke pot and NOT go on to use harder drugs, but probably 99% of the people who DO use harder drugs started out by smoking pot. I hate it that the media glamourizes drugs and alcohol so much.

    Sky I totally agree, these drugs has such a strong hold on people who uses them. It is very sad
