Ok I go into Publix today to pick up a few things. So I hand the cashier my coupon for $.35 which I thought she did not take off in which I am staring at the screen. When I cash out and get my receipt I am looking for the discount, of course there isn't one. So I say to her did you take the coupon off (while she is staring at me) she says no and hand it to me, I say to her were you planning on telling me or keeping staring wondering if I noctice? I was so upset then I go to the desk and the girl is starin at me as if to say it is only $.35. First of all if the first cashier had applied my discount, by doing her job I would not have been at the customer srvice desk. Boy was I mad
Yes I would like my $.35

Best way to handle that is to complain to the manager and then complain to the regional office.
Can you imagine if they ripped off 1000 people at .35? That would be $350. Those coupons are just too agravating to cut out and keep track of to put up with remarks like that. That really angers me when they look at you like that.

Something like that, not exactly though, happened to me a few years back. Just after the cashier finished ringing me up, I looked down at my purse and said "Uh-oh!" To which, in a very sarcastic tone she replied, "What? did you forget a coupon??" I just gave her an extremely dirty look and said "No, I am pretty sure I've lost my keys" Luckily they had been turned in at the manager's "office." But still . . . . what a freakin' *witch*!!! @@

You did the right thing, but I think I would have had to say something
