Temptation

I have been down lately mainly because this guy that I was very interested in is simply not interested in me so I decided to stop calling him. Any how normally when I'm down I shop and I have come so close these last 2 days of going shopping but opted not to. Then today I lost my ring at work ($200 ring) and I was so tempted to go and buy another, I'm upset but it's not much I can do about it. In the end I just pray I am able to stay strong against temption

    I hope you feel better soon. It seems dating now is more difficult than it was 10-15 years ago. In the past, I've experienced the same thing you mentioned. Whenever I get depressed though, I don't have an appetite (which I guess is a good thing). Take care.

    ugh i've been single for a while now. Dating has also gotten more expensive as well.

    Amber- I am sorry to hear things arent going so smoothly for you right now. Finding outlets that wont cause day-after remorse is best. This too shall pass..keep focusing on your dreams and goals...life has a way of letting the other stuff fall into place in its time. Hugs!

    i am sorry i have missed your lat couple of posts. i am glad though that you've resisted the urge to shop. maybe a way to take your mind off it would be going to the gym? you'll be even more of a hot woman, and you'll make yourself feel good because you're doing something good for your body! and honestly, what kind of jerk wouldnt be interested in you anyway? he's not worth it. you're smart and funny, you've got your s*** together and you're determined, you always pick yourself up... the list is endless, and i've never even met you in person!
    hope everything startes looking up soon for you! and i am glad you found the ring, i have heart attacks when i lose stuff like that too.
