Wow

All I can say is wow, a family friend was killed today. We just lost a friend on Sunday and now today a woman that I have known since I was a kid passed away after being in a terrible car accident.
And I am so annoyed I got a ticket today for $91 because my tint was too dark

    I was just reading the alumni magazine from my college and pointed out to my wife that 2 of my classmates died. Both were 44, as am I. Really makes you think and appreciate what you've got.

    Sorry to hear of your losses. It brings us all to the reality of needing to appreciate that we are alive and just how precious life is.

    I was saddened recently also by a friend of my son from high school passing away. My son had also found out that a neighborhood friend of his had been struck by lightning and killed a couple of years ago. So, I can appreciate how sad you must be feeling.

    Auto accidents are horribly out of control! If people would just fully appreciate how this is one of the most dangerous things that most of us will ever do (short of maybe going into the hospital), maybe driving would get treated with the respect it deserves. It is something I feel very strongly about but all I have done about it so far is to try to drive safely myself and teach my kids well. If I ever had the ability to volunteer for a cause, that would be it!

    Sorry, for your losses, Amber, that stinks big time.
