No Dining Out

January 5th, 2019 at 08:49 pm

Day 5 and I have not eaten out, I’m so happy. This week I meal planned and pack snacks and lunches all week.

Today I went grocery shopping πŸ›’ and the cost was about $40.

Tomorrow I start the 52 Week Challenge, my goal is to use this challenge to pay down debt. So tomorrow $52 (starting backwards) will be thrown at CC9.

Dining out IS expensive and adds up! Great idea to use other ways to pay down debt, such as the 52 week challenge. If you stick to it that will be $1,378 off your debt in 2019. Did you ever look at unDebtit for paydown scenarios? Any chance you will clear the full credit card debt in 2019?

Thanks CCF. I never got the chance to view undebit, it’s on my to do list. I’m hoping to pay the CC off by April. Everything I sell, save will be thrown at this card

Same here, I don't want to do any family take out or restaurant eating for the month of January. What type of food do you meal plan? I always like to see what others meal plan because it gives me ideas?

So, is the ex out yet or not? You didn't answer on the last post about that. If not, what is the plan there?

Good move on your part. It is scary how expensive eating out is. I wouldn't totally not do it because you may feel like you are missing out, but save it for very special occasions.
