Finally!

Wow, I just wanted to cry or scream when I saw my student loan balance, my student loans are finally below $40,000. My $2k payment hit yesterday and my total balance is now $39,011.66. It took almost two years but I did it. Before COVID, the balance was close to 90k. 

 

I'll admit, sometimes I get so discouraged but seeing this balance gave me hope. I still can't believe that I'm finally below $40k 

 

Just so that it's an even number, I'm going to pay $11.66. Next week I will be able to drop another $300 on it. 😀

    You have worked SO HARD to get where you are!

    I hope you will spend some of the time while you pay off the last of the loans learning about smart investing because you will soon be awash in money and you will want a solid plan to nest it well.

    Won’t it be fun to have those kinds of ‘problems’?
