In preparation of me reaching financial freedom, I signed up for a stock stimulator, so that I can learn the market.
Though I anticipate paying off student loan number 3 in June, and number 4 next year, I want to get a better understanding so when I meet with a professional, I have some kind of a clue. I’ll continue to contribute to my IRA account and then next year I’ll dabble in the markets.
I took inventory to identify the brands that I believe in and consistently try. So far it’s been great following and learning
Any book, podcast etc you all recommend for me to get better acquainted, I’d appreciate it.

I suggest reading about index funds and low cost investing. Reading selections from the "Bogelheads" online can be instructive. Good, simple, getting started books from the library might include books by John Bogel, Jonathan Clements, Rick Ferri.
Companies that are reasonable include Fidelity, Schwab, and Vanguard. Fidelity has some expensive funds and some extremely reasonable ones. You can get free, in-person help from them and you can get pricier help. ( The expensive help is not necessarily better.)
Good luck!

I would have suggested the βstock simulatorβ concept. In high school, we did this exercise (we had to look in the newspaper for stock prices!). One of my choices was Pizza Hut - I am often sorry we werenβt playing with real money!
I suggest reading a couple articles each week on CNBC.com, deciding what seems credible information to you.
I use Fidelity and I feel extremely well taken care of by the people I work with. They have an easy to use website with lots of information available, and the people I work with listen and respond to my concerns.
Take your time, donβt let anyone make you feel βstupidβ, and if someone canβt explain something, they donβt understand it!

@Crazylady I am using Investopedia Simulator and I love it. The markets went down today but a fee I chose is doing well
