Past due books

May 17th, 2006 at 10:22 pm

Being lazy I did not return my library books which ended up costing me $4.70 Frown
Can you believe it, all because I was too lazy. I could have bought a paper back book, or lunch or something; but no I had to pay the public library. Now because of a "lazy mistake" or a "stupid transaction" in which I like to call them I have to add this amount to my challenge money as well as the .70 cents for rounding up, a total of $5.00 OH BOY
I better take those movies back before I am charged a late fee as well

New challenge amount $437.96
I am entering blogs like crazy today I guess I have a lot to talk about..lol

Your post reminds me I think I owe some money at the library. I have not gone to the library in awhile, actually this year. I hope they are not charging interest on this debt. Maybe the books you had checked out will make you more than the $4.70 you owe. A definite good investment.

I'm grateful when reading about past due bills at libraries...........ours doesn't charge us, even when things are WAY late. Haven't had a late one for years however.
Our library is one of the best bargains in town. Love the online reserve a book feature.......

Our Library fines are 25c per day per book, and you can take out as many books as you want too! I have one find in 15 years that was because I deposited it after that’s day clearance of the library bin. I keep my books in a special bag if I am not reading them and post due date return on the fridge.
