No payday for me

Well today was suppose to be payday and I checked my account and of course no deposit. I work with a man who seems to think that people do not live check to check, I mean litterly he has stated this. Can you believe that? So he takes his time when it's time to do paychecks. I mean right now I am ok but I like to get paid when I am suppose to like anyone else

    I can sympathize. I work for the state of WA and I've never been paid on a certain day. I know it comes between certain dates, but there isn't a specified one at all. I've just learned how to work with it..........

    I just sat here and thought back through all the jobs I've had going back to my part time work beginning in high school. I've never had an employer who did not stick to a schedule whether I worked for big companies, or small ones where the boss was in there with his/her shirt sleeves rolled up working alongside employees. Even working as a consultant, I've always been fortunate to have reliable clients. I feel for you. I hope your employer is not delaying paychecks because his company's finances are so marginal that he cannot pay on time.

    What exactly do you do? because, unless it was something I absolutely loved doing, I would probably find a new job and quit and leave this guy high and dry. A taste of his own medicine might be the cure.

    I work the front desk at a PT office and market some time on the side and camp you are right I feel obligated because a friend of my mom got me the job when the compnay closed that I worked for, and this place fits in with my school schedule but a few more classes and I will be interning and ADIOS i go
