It is close to 10pm and not one kid showed up...I could not believe it. I was a little dissapointed because for the last few years we've been hit by hurricanes
Don't you just hate it when that happens? Espically when you have the goods?
We had a few trick or treaters here. I was expecting more and had the good Halloweeen candy for a change this year(Three Musketeers, solid milk chocolates, Nestle's rice crispy crunches, etc.) I waited all the way up unti 9:00 pm, then turned off the porch light. So there was a lot left over. I made up little Halloween treat bags for the boys, pulled out all the taffy and hard candies and some chocolates for myself and gave the rest to their dad. We also treated ourselves to hot spiced apple cider and Halloween cookies. Yum.
