    Also, I read Kiplinger's Feb issue and they reccommend Everbank for a checking account. They pay very high interest. I think after a bank gets in trouble that they are pretty much the ones to go with later because they have to prove themselves all over again.Kiplingers also rate ING Direct very highly, on page 85 of that issue. The page for best cyber banks is on page 88. EverBank is Best online checking account. 3.25% for less than $10,000. They say that EverBank treats checking almost like savings. You need a minimum of $1500 to open an account .
