Not a good day

November 20th, 2011 at 10:17 pm

First I misplaced/lost $20. This money was to last me until the weekend. I original started out with a little over $80, I went to get my hair done and the cost was $25, I went to Publix and spent $10 after that I have no idea what happened all I know is I was $20 short.

Next, I washed my clothes, hung them on the line and it started to rain Frown so I had to rewash them and go to the laundry mat to dry them, costing me $1.50. I'm not adding this to the challenge because it was out of my control.

Well I think I'll mope over my $20 for another 10 or so minutes and then move on.

On a good note I did collect 25 points using the ShopKick app, I'm hoping to get enough point by my birthday to pay for my hotel room for our trip.

In the end, I am still blogging which is a good thing

Well, hopefully it'll get picked up by someone who desperately needed it to put food on the table and your loss will be the little miracle they needed going into the holidays. Sorry you lost it, though.

Maybe it is somewhere you will find it...if not, I agree with you and LR..that it was found by someone who really needed it.

Amber - I totally understand the frustration about the rain/laundry. Was there any way to hang things inside the house to dry? I know this may not have been possible if the stuff was needed immediately, but I have been known to hang sheets/blankets from every door in the house to dry and I utilize 2 drying racks as well Smile

can i ask why you had to rewash the clothes after they were rained on? If it rains while my clothes are out I will spin them again - but not rewash them. I figure water from the sky is probably cleaner than that which comes out of the pipes!
We usually hang our clothes on ropes DH put up over the deck when it rains.

To be honest, its just the idea that the clothes got wet and they're not clean. No real reason
