CC5 Is Officially Gone!

Wow I did it!

This credit card 💳 was driving me crazy, I paid it off. CC5 is officially gone! It feels so good to know that I’ve paid this card off. It makes up for the dental payment.

What’s so funny was, I stopped by my mom after paying off the CC to check my mail. There’s an offer from Macy’s. upping my CC balance, thanks but no thanks. Just two years ago, they reduced it. My debt to income was too high. But now that I’m paying things off, they’re increasing it. I’ll pass.

Thanks for tips everyone, I am going to reach out to my dentist to find out if there is a discount. He typically discounts things for me so I’ll see.

Someone asked in a previous post if the SO could help, the answer is no. He never has any money for anything. Can’t wait to get him out.

We got another court date for September 11th regarding the house, thank God.

    I'm so shocked that a legal contract to sell a home can get so bogged down in the court system. What is the legal reason for the delay? I thought it was supposed to be complete in June.

    The reason for the delay is that my brother keeps filing frivolous motions. Hopefully this is the last one.

    In addition to CC offers, you may get targeted with sales brochures since you have available credit now. Don't even open them - trash them right away if you could be tempted.

    Woo hoo! Good for you. I signed up to be opted out of the credit card offers for me, DH, DD, and DS. I probably need to do it for DS's online gaming identity as well, since that persona is now getting credit card offers, too. They might as well be sending credit card offers to our ducks.

    Are you cancelling any of your credit cards after you pay them off or are you waiting until after you qualify for a mortgage?

    Way to go on the cc being paid off.

    When I got braces a number of years ago, I got a little discount since I paid cash. My deal was I paid half up front, then when he took the braces off, I paid the remainder.
