Student Loan #3

Made my first payment on my third student loan. My goal is to pay something no matter how small each week. This week, I paid $50.63.  I’m hoping to have this loan paid off by December 2022, then on to the next one. 

 

I’m excited to start this journey.

    You are doing so great. The student loan interest moratorium seems to have helped you.
    I don’t think all loans should be forgiven, but I do hope there is something done to help people like you who I think got scammed by payment plans that didn’t cover the interest and your loans ballooned up.

    Thanks Lots of Ideas! Yes the moratorium has definitely helped. I don’t think I could have made so much progress without it, and I’m thankful.
    Regarding the forgiveness, I can take it or leave it; however, I did believe that there needs to be reform. It sucks that I can’t pay towards my principal unless there’s no interest. The debt in my opinion is like a loan shark. But hey, I’m going to keep plucking away at it while I can.
